Mai Black visits Ipswich Academy

We recently welcomed visiting poet Mai Black to Ipswich Academy to work with Year 7.

Our students had a wonderful time exploring Mai Black’s poems from her anthology of Thirty Angry Ghosts, based on Horrible Histories. The students also had an opportunity to write their own haikus on a range of topics relating to school, nature and hobbies.
