Remembering the fallen

A two-minute silence was held in school today in remembrance of all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in both World Wars and in other conflicts around the world. Many students who are part of associated organisations came to school in their uniforms.

Thirteen Year 9 students joined veterans and community leaders at the Service of Remembrance in Christchurch Park. Students laid poppy wreaths and placed symbols of Remembrance at the Ipswich War Memorial on behalf of Ipswich Academy.
