Teacher of History

We are looking for an inspirational and highly motivated Teacher of History to join our team, starting in September. Teacher of Science

We’re seeking a Teacher of Science to join our dedicated staff from September. As a part of the science team at Ipswich Academy, you will work to establish for children, a caring environment in which each child will be nurtured and encouraged to develop their potential in science. Unqualified teacher applications with experience will also be considered.

Exam Invigilators

We are looking to appoint Exam Invigilators to assist with the effective conduct of examinations.  You will need to be reliable, punctual, flexible, confident, firm but fair, and calm under pressure. 

As an invigilator you will be responsible for conducting examination sessions with students present and ensure the integrity of the external examination/assessment process.  Working as a team with other invigilators you will also contribute to ensuring a calm environment while examinations take place. 

All applicants must have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  If you are successful you will be required to comply with the Trust’s safeguarding policies and procedures.  An Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required for all posts.

Salary: Scale 2,  Points 3-4;  £11.78 p/h – £11.98 p/h (variable hours, as and when required).
