Paradigm Trust is seeking teachers and support staff at all levels to join Ipswich Academy
In September 2015 Ipswich Academy became the fourth school to become part of Paradigm Trust. There are a number of vacancies for teachers who are seeking to make a significant contribution. You will need to be open to fresh challenges, have high energy and commitment levels and work to the highest standards. The rewards are excellent, with performance related pay for the best teachers.
Teachers/support staff with leadership and management experience, NQTs and subject leads are welcome to get in touch to make an application. We would also like to hear from primary colleagues with experience in key stage 2. Opportunities are also available for paid graduate interns.

Ipswich Academy delivers best ever GCSE results
With the today’s news full of GCSE results, I am delighted to be able to tell you that the students at Ipswich Academy have delivered really great results. Of the 106 students who entered, 50.9% have achieved at least a grade four or above (the old A*-C) in English and mathematics – up from 48.6% last year.
The new exam formats and marking scheme make comparison with previous years difficult, but the general consensus is that the absence of course work and the exams themselves were significantly harder than before which makes these results even more impressive.
I am delighted that the hard work of the students and staff has paid off.

Year 11 results information
Year 11 results can be picked up between 10am and midday on Thursday 24th August 2017.
Results must be picked up by the student, otherwise the person picking up the results must have a letter signed by the student and proof of ID.

Update on plans to celebrate Amanda Phillips’ life
Amanda will be buried at a private, family only ceremony in the next few weeks. Before that, Paradigm Trust will compile all the messages of condolences that it has received and present them to her family.
We will also be organising events to remember Amanda and celebrate her life and achievements for the children and adults across all the schools. We will be able to update you further as these plans make progress.
