Ipswich Academy welcomes any prospective employers who would be willing to support our students with meaningful encounters in school. Our students really benefit from being able to visit workplaces and being able to relate their careers learning in the classroom to real jobs. There are many ways you can share your experience and help build our students’ knowledge of employability skills, the workplace, the labour market, job search skills and mentoring. At Ipswich Academy we have a range of activities you could join in with and we are always open to new ideas to help support our careers programmes.

Building an alumni community to inspire our students

If you are an ex student of Holywells High School or Ipswich Academy and would like to come back to offer careers and education advice, mentor students or provide work experience placements you would be very welcome. We often have events specially aimed at our alumni and they are well received by staff, students and parents/carers.
