What makes our school great?

Relationships with parents/carers are positive and close. Pupils behave well – adults praise pupils where appropriate and pupils show respect and listen to others’ points of view. Our pupils take pride in their work and books are well-presented.

Our modern buildings are well configured to support pupil learning and we have a range of excellent facilities which pupils can take advantage of, including a state of the art sports centre, dance studio and all weather pitch.

We regularly provide high quality, additional targeted learning sessions, including during holidays and weekends.

Pupils are encouraged to play an active role in all aspects of academy life and we have a variety of structures for respecting, and responding to, their influence – including a pupil council and a pupil ambassador scheme.

Ipswich Academy benefits from highly committed, strong and purposeful leadership within the school and across Paradigm Trust.
