Paradigm Trust Summer Concert

I am delighted to invite you to our Paradigm Trust Summer Concert. All three Paradigm schools, Ipswich Academy, Piper’s Vale Primary Academy and Murrayfield Primary Academy, are joining together to deliver the concert where we will launch our new values. Piper’s Vale Primary Academy is very excited to be hosting the event on their field.

The concert is on Friday 13th July with gates opening at 13:45; the concert begins at 14:00 and ends at 15:00. (Please note that in the case of bad weather the concert will be postponed to Wednesday 18th July.  All arrangements will remain the same).

Students from Ipswich Academy will walk with their base group tutor and other staff to Piper’s Vale Primary Academy from 12:30. Students will then be dismissed from the concert at approximately 15:00. If you do not wish for your child to be dismissed from Piper’s Vale Primary Academy, and you would like them to walk back to Ipswich Academy with staff, please let us know.

Please note that spaces are limited to two adults per student. We recommend bringing a blanket to sit on; if you have additional needs please let us know and we will provide a chair. You are invited to bring your own refreshments, but please remember that alcohol is not permitted on site. If you would like to attend the concert, please reply to info@ipswichacademy.org.uk by Friday 6th July.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Yours faithfully,

Helen Winn

Principal

Year 10 subject consultation meeting

Appointments are available for you to meet with your child’s teachers on Wednesday 11th July, 4:00pm to 7:00pm. You are able to book five minute appointment slots for each subject teacher using our electronic booking system. This is the link for the website:

https://www.parents-booking.co.uk/ipswichacademy

Appointments with each teacher will last for five minutes. All meetings will take place in the blue and red areas, staff will be available on your arrival to help as required. Booking will be on a first come, first served basis and the booking system is now open.

In order to login to the system, you will need the following information relating to your child, as held in our database:

  • First name
  • Surname
  • Date of birth
  • Register class

You will also need to enter the details we have on record for you. If you have recently changed your title or surname, for example, and not informed us, we will be expecting you to login with the details we have on record. The email address you enter is only used to receive a confirmation of your appointment. If the system gives you an error when you login, it will not be the email address that is the problem.

If you do not have access to the Internet, or experience any problems with using the system, please contact the school and ask to speak with Linda Winstone.

Subject teachers will meet with you and your child on an individual basis to provide clear feedback on your child’s learning. You will also have an opportunity to review your child’s exercise books. As appointments are limited, if you are unable to see all of your child’s teachers then please contact the school via our email address to book a separate appointment at another time.

Your child is required to attend, with their parent/carer.

Many thanks for your ongoing support.
